How it works

A checklist that knows what comes next.

LaunchPath takes the 171 tasks of planting a church and turns them into a roadmap that moves as you work. Here's what that looks like, step by step.

  1. 1

    Start with your launch date.

Name your plant and set a best-guess launch Sunday. That's the whole setup. Every task gets a due date counted backward from launch day, so an 18-month runway and a 9-month runway produce two different plans. Move the date and you can recompute.

  2. 2

    Tasks open up in order.

Every task knows what must come before it. Finish “Define the Worship Service Style” and “Recruit Your Worship Leader” opens up. On day one, the tasks with no prerequisites are ready and the rest wait their turn, so it never feels like 171 things at once.

  3. 3

Every task is a full write-up.

The why, the steps, and the resources, written for a pastor rather than a project manager. The six Soul Care tasks are open to everyone from day one. The full playbook unlocks with a plant license.

Planting models

Built for more than one planting model

The checklist runs in three parts. A gathering-first plant works all three. A micro church simply leaves the third part untouched; nothing nags you about tasks that aren't yours.

Part one: every model

Micro church and house church included

What every church plant needs whatever its model.

  • Soul care and prayer
  • Building the team
  • Learning your community
  • An evangelistic culture
  • Vision and discipleship
  • Leadership
  • Funding
  • A healthy management team

Part two: almost everyone

The legal and financial setup

The paperwork that applies to almost every plant.

  • Legal formation
  • Financial systems
  • Church office systems

Part three: gathering-first plants

Only if you'll start with a public worship gathering

A micro church simply leaves this part untouched.

  • Branding
  • Staffing
  • Children and youth
  • The worship service
  • Facility and equipment
  • Ministry teams
  • Assimilation
  1. 4

    An early warning, weeks ahead.

Your dashboard shows days to launch, progress by area, what just opened up, and what to work on now. Behind-pace and at-risk flags surface quietly, long before anything is urgent.

  2. 5

Your launch team works the same plan.

Invite team members by email, hand off tasks, and keep comments, notes, and files on the task itself. Everyone sees one roadmap.

  3. 6

Coaches see it without a status meeting.

A coach gets a read-only view of every plant they serve: days to launch, progress, and who's running behind.

  4. 7

    A monthly scorecard.

Pick the vitals you'll track (gospel conversations, disciples, baptisms, launch team members, or your own), set goals, and check in once a month: last month's faithful actions, this month's numbers, next month's commitments.

  5. 8

Do your work from your AI.

Connect LaunchPath to the AI you already use and work the roadmap from there: ask what's due this week, mark a task done, set a due date, add a note, record this month's scorecard numbers. You never have to open the app to keep the plan current.

Connecting also adds things the app itself doesn't do. LaunchPath ships a set of skills for your AI: a launch-date reality check that tells you whether your date still holds, a week-ahead focus, a weekly check-in, a progress report written for your coach, and more. Your AI reads your plant, does the thinking, and writes the result. It sees exactly what you see, nothing more.

Your roadmap takes about a minute to generate.
